Features & Technical Specifications

Full Description

Choose a suitable print method

Thermal transfer printing uses ribbon with compatible labels, while direct thermal printing uses heat-sensitive media. The two methods provide different supply choices, allowing a labeling workflow to be planned around the materials needed for the job.

Drive system and ribbon handling

The dual-motor gear design supports the printer mechanism, and the specified ribbon capacity is 300 m. A head-up sensor detects the raised print-head state, while a replaceable platen provides a serviceable component in the paper path.

Wired software integration

USB and LAN are the listed interfaces for connecting to compatible hosts. A 200 MHz 32-bit processor works with 16 MB SDRAM and 16 MB flash. Bundled labeling software and Windows drivers provide a starting point for creating layouts and configuring jobs.
