Features & Technical Specifications

Full Description

Connections and Key Functions

A selectable VLAN mode isolates PoE ports to separate endpoint traffic. Automatic powered-device detection and overload protection support power handling, while dedicated uplink connections link the installation to the wider network. The metal housing is fanless, and setup is described as plug and play.

Plan power and network connections

Match each powered device to the PoE standard supported by its assigned port. Where a shared power budget is specified, add the demand of all attached devices before deployment. Reserve the required uplink capacity and use suitable cabling for the link speed and installation distance.

Power and data at the endpoint

PoE can carry network data and power over the same Ethernet cable to a compatible device. This can simplify deployment where the endpoint does not need a separate local adapter. Port count, per-port capability and total available power are separate specifications.

Ideal Applications

• Compatible PoE camera installations
• Wireless access-point connections
• IP phone and small-business networks
